Now everyone who looks here can check out my kids. Kind of scary, but I think I know everyone who looks, so . . . yeah!

I don't pretend we have all the answers. But the questions are certainly worth thinking about. ~Arthur C. Clarke

Those are some seriously cute pics, hon. No kidding.
Thanks! I'm awfully fond of my little girls.
You need to post more often.
And them girls are pretty worth being fond of. I need a more identifiable-by-preschooler AIM icon, like K'wyn's bubberflea.
BUBBERFLEA.
Hey. my blubberflea is a generic windows icon, and the dragonfly is a generic mac icon. I'm bad at finding avatars, and I now have an excuse not to try because I can't change mine now anyway. Morgen wouldn't know who I am!
They are adorable girls, hon. Beautifuls, I say.
Do they dress up in garb for events too? Morgen would make such a cute peasant at faire or war, but you might be closer to nobility if you know so much of the local court.
They do - usually really basic tunics-as-dresses, so not far off of being peasants. They grow like weeds, so it's totally not worth spending the money on fabric or patterns for fancy stuff - usually - though I do (did) for our event this year. We're gonna be Barbary corsairs! I can't wait until I get pictures of them and Zoe in their matching outfits.
I wish you guys could come! I'd make you both garb, too, since apparently I'm making it for the world. Yes, I'm crazy. I already made Zoe's, and found stuff that Michael could wear that I already have, but I still have to make Jerry's, Ruth's and mine. Good lord!
At least only mine has to be done by Saturday.
Also, yes, I do need to post more. I will! I'll make that my almost-autumn resolution.
Hell, hon. I have loaner garb for k. :) I mean, we'd have to get her a bodice meant for someone her size (in a pinch my grey one from college might fit loosely but comfortably), but I have skirts we could just take in or pin, and shirts are easy to come by.
Loaner garb for the guys is always harder, but the Knights have a box of it somewhere. I know, because if Matt, Liz, Tyr and I go to Northern Faire, he'll be borrowing garb so I don't have to sew between now and the 10th. And a loaner, peace-tied weapon for "guard duty."
I want to make a chemise and skirts that will work for fencing (or archery) though--narrow sleeves to go under gauntlets, you know? Or even go with the horribly unconventional woman-in-pants thing. I'm hesitant to do that, because it really didn't happen in period, except for scouts & archers, and they're not really gonna be kickin' it in camp during "war" ya know?
I don't think we're going to Northern, but we might. If we do, I'll see if someone with a digicam can get a picture. I cheat on the whole bodice thing, though, for fighting faires/wars. Mine's leather, and engineered to keep "the girls" out of the way, not on display. *winks*

I'm down with the t-shirt that has "PEASANT" stenciled in on the chest. That works, too.
